This is a Life Itself Sensemaking Studio project supported by Garrison Institute International.
A core aim of this wiki is to close the rift that generally persists between psychological approaches to resilience that tend to emphasise the management of emotional distress, and systemic disciplines that tend to emphasise physical infrastructure and structural processes.
The objective is to provide a coherent overview of a complex and messy territory, and signpost readers to some standout resources for further inquiry and support. The intended outcome is that scholars, practitioners and policymakers with a grounding in either psychological resilience or societal resilience disciplines become better informed about the interconnection between the two fields, leading to more effective research, innovation and policy.
